Hey gang, not been up to too much this week as I was saving myself for the E-Book launch for the MC&L Recipe E-Book. I have to say the ebook has some amazing recipes inside! It was great to meet all the other MCL stars and share stories about our own personal experiences plus out a face to a name! It was such an achievement for the girls and a great evening had by all, albeit a late one!
The next day we headed to Harvey Nichols for a healthy brunch with Tracey and Steph who came from London for the launch, it was lovely but shortly it was time to wave them goodbye.

So off I was again travelling to the other end of the country with Miss Parry for a fitness event (best time of the year for me now) and another Hen Do for Jo!
So we set off early doors Friday morning as it is a long drive, with protein bars and shakes in tow! I started off with protein pancakes for breakfast accompanied wit blueberries and ground cinnamon sprinkled over the top - perfect start to the day! If you are ever struggling on what to have for breakfast, these are the tasty, fast to make and very filling, I didn't feel hungry till around 1pm when we stopped for lunch and back on the road we were!
It was brilliant being able to last a 6 hour journey on healthy snacks and water! It really does fill you up, healthy food and I was ready and energised for the weekend full of fitness!
Friday afternoon I did 3 classes, one of which Jo was teaching which was a great start to my weekend! That night we went round to friends for dinner where they had prepared fish with clean wedges and salad for dinner, we had a cheeky glass of champagne with dinner but then that was it for the rest of the evening. It was an early night so we were ready for the next day of dancing and a carnage for The Wedding fancy dress night!

So the night was over and 3 hours later it was Sunday morning, so we headed back to classes where I taught with Jo and it really is fascinating, still a year on, how much my own fitness level has changed! I wasn't tired, lethargic and ready to collapse for once! I felt much energised and gave it my all!
It was great to see so many people and meet people who had done MCL and how it has changed there lives. It’s great to see how amazing they look and hear how they feel energised and confident throughout the classes! It was also great to hear how they had started out with a 7 day and 10 day detox and wanted to venture on further to do the 21 days!
Before we knew it, the weekend was over and we had the dreaded 6 hour drive back to Leeds! We made it, we were shattered to say the least and it was back to being clean!
