Bride to be blogger Jo Telfer has been on her adventures!

Hi there. How are you all?

Enjoying this beautiful weather l hope? I've just got back from a short trip to Tenerife and it was so lovely to land to the sun shining and bright blue skies. This sunny weather certainly gets my head focused on my desired leaner body for my summer wedding! Eeek.

My trip was full of fun and some well needed relaxation. I spent a day on a beautiful boat and was lucky enough to see pilot whales, playful dolphins and a Blue Whale. It was huge, it was so surreal l caught myself holding my Breathe! What wasn't so fortunate was being stung by a Portuguese Man of War Jelly Fish. Let me tell you it stings so bad. I felt like someone was holding hot coals on my shin and it's still painful now 2 days on. My poor friend got the tentacles wrapped around her thigh and hand. Luckily the bride to be only had a small sting on her foot. Stings on faces could have been disastrous!

I was the oldest on this trip by 10 years (yes l felt ancient before l boarded the plane) however I've not lost my ability to dance and have a good time at my 33 years and l didn't feel too bad exposing my bikini body in front of these young, slender, beautiful girls. That l owe to MCL. I am however excited about the new insanity MCL about to be launched in a couple of weeks. The sun certainly suppresses your appetite for food (unfortunately not for calorific alcoholic drinks) but I'm looking forward to eating clean and lean again with lots of hit training. After all there's only 129 days left until Dave and l tie the knot. How exciting am l....

As you can imagine with D Day fast approaching now lots more wedding activities have taking place in our household. We've chosen the suits, flowers and I've bought the diamante Stones and chains for my flowers. The Hen and Stag does are booked. Honeymoon is now booked. My lounge has been taken over by 8 huge boxes ready to ship to my Wedding Planner in Croatia full of glass wear, lights, and wrist corsages for my bridesmaids and other decorations for my venue. Vows, readings and music play list have now also been organised now - choosing songs has been very fun indeed.

I have post it notes all around our house so when l think of a track l love to dance to l can jot it down so l don't forget it. That sudden outburst of song and dodgy dance moves have been hysterical for all to see! Favours have been sourced and my Dad is at the ready to create my place names and table plan as his calligraphy skills are better than mine! So much done, although the list of things to do though is still humongous. We'll get there though I'm sure.

I've also had some brilliant time with our little ones and my friends with their children. A few of my close friends and l took our bambinos to Northumberland for a few days for some coastal adventures. We had a ball. Lots of walking in the rain spotting baby lambs, trips to the sea life centre where a few seals got very close and friendly plus building sandcastles and a rather hairy ride to the Farne Islands. I certainly used all my muscles carrying the pram down to the boat!

Well that’s me for a few weeks, so I hope you have all had a good Easter and enjoyed your eggs. I am now back on a MISSION big time! Take care.

Lots of love
